By regulatory Decision № 989-ЖЗ from 20th December 2013 the Financial Supervision Commission granted permission to EUROINS INSURANCE GROUP for acquiring the entire share capital of INTERAMERICAN Bulgaria Life Insurance.

QBE, the business insurance specialist, has today announced that it has reached an agreement with Euroins Insurance Group (Euroins) to transfer its insurance operations in Bulgaria and Romania to Euroins for an undisclosed amount.

On 2nd October 2013 the insurance portfolio of Interamerican General insurance was transferred to Euroins Insurance plc. This became possible at the same day the Financial Supervision Commission and the Commission on protection of competition issued their approvals, with which all preconditions for finalization of the transaction were fulfilled.
